DRESS ACCORDING TO YOUR BODY TYPE!

In the previous article, we presented the 4 basic female body types. Now that you know yours, we can proceed with various tips & tricks on how to dress, adapting fashion to our bodies.

PEAR
The lower part of women with a pear-shaped body is wider than the upper part. In other words, the hips are wider than the shoulders.
The goal, therefore, is to emphasize the waist and arms, highlight the shoulders and upper body, and reduce volume in the hips.

Tips & Tricks

-Strapless dresses flatter and emphasize the shoulders and even out body proportions.
-Experiment with light-colored tops and darker pants or skirts for contrast.
-Prefer jackets whose length reaches just above the waist. We recommend faux leather jackets by Zhenzi, which you have loved so much.
-Emphasize your upper body by wearing blouses or dresses with ruffles.
-DO NOT choose skirts or dresses with patterns, as they emphasize the hips and thighs.

APPLE
In women with an apple-shaped body, most of the weight is concentrated above the hips, which are usually narrow. The back, chest, and shoulders are broad. Your greatest "weapon" is your legs. The goal is to lengthen the torso, highlight the legs, and create an illusion of a waist.

Tips & Tricks

-Prefer monochrome outfits.
-Blouses with V-necklines make the torso appear longer and are flattering. We recommend the very impressive DinaXL blouse with fringes.
-Choose bras that hold the breasts firmly and "lift" them.
-Wear belts around your waist, but high up!
-Empire waist dresses hide the tummy and flatter.
-Prefer short dresses or skirts to show off your legs.

HOURGLASS
The shoulders and hips of women with an hourglass body are in full proportion, while the waist is also proportionally narrower. The goal here is none other than to highlight your curves!

Tips & Tricks

-Do not hide your curves with baggy clothes.
-Wear a nice, firm bra to emphasize your bust or shapewear that will sculpt your curves.
-Fitted dresses are a must as they highlight curves.
-Wear a belt around your waist to emphasize it further (not that you need it, but just saying)
-Try skirts that are worn high on the waist to show off your buttocks.
-Skinny straight pants flatter your curves.
-Choose thin and light styles and fabrics

RECTANGLE
The body of women with a rectangle shape is straight, and the waist, hips, and shoulders have the same proportions. The goal here is to create curves where there are none and to highlight the legs and arms.

Tips & Tricks

-A good bra will make the most of the bust you have.
-Long anorak-style jackets help to make your silhouette appear slimmer.
-Wearing many "layers" of clothes creates more dimensions in your body, and that's something we want.
-Scoop neck blouses, i.e., those with a low neckline, as well as sweetheart tops (deep neckline), are a must as they create curves in the body.
-Colorful pants highlight the lower body. Don't be afraid to experiment with them.
-Finally, wear tops with collars, ruffles, or details that flatter the bust. We recommend a romantic printed top by DinaXL.
